The OBS4000L is a stainless steel pedestal-mounted rotary gear pump engineered for demanding fluid transfer applications, particularly in food-grade and maple syrup processing systems. Featuring 1/2" NPT ports and a rugged investment-cast stainless steel housing, this positive displacement pump delivers reliable, quiet, and efficient operation.

Designed as a direct stainless steel replacement for the N4000L bronze model, the OBS4000L includes hardened stainless steel shafts, stainless steel gears, and graphitized silicon carbide sleeve bearings. It is fully compliant with ""biofood"" standards and optimized for handling abrasive sugar sand and filter aid in syrup filtration systems.

Recommended Applications:
Ideal for maple syrup filter press systems, food-grade fluid transfer, and other sanitary applications requiring corrosion resistance, quiet operation, and the ability to handle abrasive particulates. Not suitable for fluids with suspended solids unless specifically designed for such use.
